The Latest Technology Available

We have two different wavelengths of lasers in our office, each having a highly specialized purpose in providing the best possible care to our patients.

DEKA Ultra Speed C02 Laser

Dr. Jumber has been using the Deka laser for eight years. It is a very efficient, fast cutting laser that seals nerve endings, kills bacteria and is bloodless. Our office has been placing dental implants for over fifteen years. The use of the Deka Ultra Speed CO2 laser enables Dr. Jumber to place implants with no cutting, no blood and no sutures. He also uses the laser for biopsy, ablation of pre-cancerous lesion, removal of hyperplastic tissue and cosmetic re-contouring (gingivoplasty) of the gingivia.

Millennium PerioLase MVP-7 Digital Laser

Approximately 75 percent of Americans suffer from some form of periodontal disease. Traditionally, gum disease has been treated by cutting the gums (flap surgery), removal of diseased tissue and sutures. The results were gaps between the teeth and sensitive, long exposed roots.

We are excited to provide you with the latest method of treatment for periodontitis. It is called the Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) by The PerioLase MVP-7 Digital Laser. It is the 1st and only FDA approved laser gum treatment procedure. The PerioLase MVP-7 has a unique wavelength of laser light that targets diseased tissue, kills periodontal pathogens, alters the nature of root calculus making it easier to remove and bio-stimulates the reparative process allowing the body to regenerate new bone and supporting structures around the teeth.

Laser periodontal therapy (LPT) is a relatively painless procedure post-operatively. Most patients experience little or no discomfort and you can expect to return to work the day after laser surgery.

Periodontal disease is a chronic infection. LPT is an excellent treatment but it is not a cure. There is no cure for periodontal disease. The goal of LPT is to reverse some of the effects of the disease and to help you maintain a healthy mouth.
